New to the studio

What is Reformer Pilates?
A low-impact, full-body workout on a specialised machine (the reformer). Spring-based resistance and controlled movements build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance posture — without stressing the joints.
I have never tried it. Where do I start?
Book a Beginner class and arrive 10 minutes early for a short induction — we will walk you through setting up the equipment. The intro offer (£48 for 3 classes) is the cheapest way to try us.
Who can attend?
Anyone 16+. All levels welcome. No prior experience or fitness level is required. Women-only classes available for those who prefer that environment.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, clean, form-fitting workout clothing. Avoid clothing with zips or sharp details. Grip socks are required for hygiene and safety — £5 to buy at reception if you forget.
When should I arrive?
5–10 minutes early to get settled. First-timers should arrive 10 minutes early for the pre-class induction.

Booking, cancellations, memberships

How do memberships work?
Memberships are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have a minimum three-month term. They auto-renew until cancelled. To cancel, give 30 days notice.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel a class up to 12 hours before the start time. Cancellations made within 12 hours are late cancellations and you lose the credit used to book.
What is the refund policy?
Class packs and memberships are non-refundable. Expired credits cannot be extended or reinstated.
How do waitlists work?
You are added automatically if a space opens up more than 12 hours before class. Within 12 hours, members on the waitlist receive a text or email and can claim the spot first-come, first-served. Credits return automatically if the waitlist spot is not used.
What happens if I arrive late?
For safety reasons we cannot allow entry once a class has started.

Health & specifics

Do I need to mention injuries or pregnancy?
Yes — please tell the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy before each class so we can adapt safely.
I am postnatal. Can I join?
Yes — we run a Postnatal (Baby Friendly) class on Thursdays at 10:30am. Pre-crawling babies welcome alongside you. Medical clearance from your GP or midwife is required.
Can people from outside the studio see in?
No. There are curtains across the studio that are closed during every class so you have full privacy from the public.
Is there parking?
Free 2-hour parking at Waitrose opposite the studio. Side streets nearby (Chelmsford Road, Buckingham Road, Malmesbury Road) also have street parking.

Referrals & promotions

How does the referral programme work?
Refer a friend who spends £50+ and you'll earn one free class credit. Your friend receives a £10 voucher towards their first class purchase. Up to 3 referrals per month, credits expire in 60 days.
